Abstract

In the essence, national development aimed at improving the welfare of its people, prosperous and equitable in both urban areas and in cities within the scope of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. However the reality of inequality of development is still going on, therefore, need the attention of the government so that imbalances do not occur. Along with the national economic growth on average improved the supposed areas need empowerment. People in rural areas also need empowerment by motivating and training to improve productivity. This study aimed to analyze the influence of motivation and training on productivity. The sample of this research is a group of entrepreneurs Kerajinan/Batik” in Gunungpati, Semarang. Primary data collected by visiting the respondents, to make sure that the questionnaire filled correctly and researchers can explain when respondents to check problems in filling out the questionnaire. Descriptive data analysis method is used to analyzing quantitative data and qualitatively stated. Then the writer results of the calculation and complete the picture obtained from the analysis of qualitative data to solve problems examined. The Analyzing of data by the multiple linier regression using SPSS. The test results Motivation (X1) 0.671, Training (X2) 0.238, both are significantly influence the productivity. It can be concluded that the motivation can significantly influence productivity, the training also significantly influence productivity. Results Adjusted R Square of 0.63. Productivity means 63% of the variation could be explained both independent variables. The ANOVA test resulted F value of 33 925 with 0,00 significance, so it is concluded that motivation and training simultaneously effect the productivity or the model used good.
