Abstract
The aims of this study were to: 1) describe the development of cooperatives, 2) investigate the
influence of own capital, loan capital and business volume on added value of cooperatives,
either simultaneously or partially, and 3) determine the contribution of the influence of own
capital, loan capital and business volume to added value of cooperatives in Yogyakarta Special
Province. Data analysis techniques use were descriptive statistics and multiple regression
analysis. The findings obtained include: during the research period, cooperatives in
Yogyakarta Special Province when viewed from the own capital, loan capital, business volume
and added value of cooperatives a very significant development. The study also found that own
capital, loan capital and business volume simultaneously affect added value of cooperatives,
while the partial test only business volume variable affecting the added value of cooperatives.
In addition it was found that the contribution of the influence of own capital, loan capital and
the business volume on the added value of cooperatives in Yogyakarta Special Province at
95.90%, while the rest is influenced by other aspects which are not included in the research
model
