Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of empowerment ,
organizational culture on organizational commitment and employee
performance .
This research was conducted on the Office of Surveillance and employees of
Customs and Excise Excise Holy Medium Type . The samples in this study were
60 respondents with sampling method using census method . Testing technique
to test the validity of the data include requiring KMO value greater 0.5 and
Cronbach alpha greater than 0.6 . The resulting data were tested by multiple
regression analysis and test of mediation .
The results showed that by empowering employees does not affect the
commitment oranisasional , while the organizational culture and a significant
positive effect on organizational commitment . Further empowerment and
organizational culture directly affect positively and significantly to the
performance of the employee . Organizational commitment did not significantly
influence employee performance . While on test mediation where no
organizational commitment mediates the empowerment and organizational
culture on employee performance .
