Abstract

Quality of service provided by bank is one of the main customers concern to choose a bank. Bank services that do not satisfy the customer will cause customers to switch to another bank, and vice versa bank services that satisfy customers will make a loyal customer. An increasing number of third parties funding is an indication of customer loyalty to the bank. This study aims to describe the development of customer loyalty andthird party funds, and examined the effect of customer loyalty to the increase in third party funds in the banking industry in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from a survey of MarkPlus Insight about Indonesian Bank Loyalty Index (IBLI) and a list of third party 2 funds issued by the Bureau of Research Infobank. Specifically, the independent variable in this study is that customer loyalty in the proxy it by the numbers loyalty index based IBLI, while the dependent variable is the number of third party funds. Verifikatif analysis performed using simple linear regression model and processed using SPSS software. This study found that the loyalty index affect the number of third party funds, but its contribution is very small (20.2%), so that it can be concluded that the loyalty index is not a dominant factor in influencing the amount of deposits a bank.
