Abstract
This study examines the effect of capital structure on firm performance. The study was conducted at the Indonesian Stock Exchange with a population of companies whose shares are included in the LQ 45 group. The study period during the 3-year, ie 2009 to 2011. Sampling method using purposive sampling, with specific criteria tailored to the needs of researchers. The results showed that in equation 1, CLTA and LTLTA are negative effect on ROA at significantly less than 1 percent. Equation 2, CLTA positive effect on ROE, but no significant, while the LTLTA is negative effect on ROE at significantly less than 5 percent. Equation 3, CLTA and LTLTA are negative effect on EP at significantly less than 1 percent. Keywords: CLTA, LTLTA, ROA, ROE, and EP.
