Abstract

Saat ini ada dua dari tiga laki-laki yang bekerja memiliki istri yang bekerja, dengan demikian keluarga dengan pasangan karir ganda (Career Couples) telah menjadi suatu norma. Di Indonesia semakin banyak perempuan yang bekerja di luar rumah, dengan alasan utama mereka (59%) adalah untuk menambah penghasilan. Kondisi ini menimbulkan tekanan peran dari pekerjaan dan keluarga yang satu sama lain tidak selaras, yang dikenal dengan Konflik Pekerjaan-Keluarga (Work-Family Conflict). Awal dari studi ini menggunakan pengukuran unidimensi, walaupun saat ini sudah banyak penelitian yang mengembangkannya menjadi multidimensional dengan tiga dimensi, yaitu: berbasis waktu, tekanan/ketegangan, dan. Studi ini menawarkan pengembangan dalam pengukuran multidimensi dengan dua dimensi, yaitu: futuristik dan nurturistik dalam pengukuran konflik pekerjaan-keluarga, dengan menggabungkan teori peran, teori pertukaran sosial, dan teori konservasi sumber daya. Konflik ini akan berdampak pada kinerja in-role dan extra-role, dan akan berkurang dengan adanya religiositas yang dimiliki oleh seseorang. In Indonesia, more and more women working outside the home, with their main reason (59%) is to increase income. This condition raises the pressure of work and family roles are incompatible with each other, known as Work-Family Conflict.Beginning of this study using unidimensi scale measurements, although it's been a lot of research to develop a multidimensional scale with three dimensions, namely: time-based, stress/strain-based, and behavior-based. This study offers the development of the multidimensional scale measurement of two dimensions, namely: futuristic and nurturistik in the measurement of work-family conflict, by combining role theory, social exchange theory and conservation of resources theory. This conflict will affect the in-role and extra-role performance, and will be reduced by religiosity.
