Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership example where the principal motivation moderate increase teacher performance and the effect of transformational leadership moderate organizational commitment to the performance of teachers at the primary school teacher in the second target areas kecamatan Tegal barat Kota Tegal. The population in this study’s teachers target areas Kecamatan barat Kota Tegal, which amounted to 103 people using population research statistical tecnik in use is the validation test, realibility test, normality test, classic assumption and test the feasibility of the model. Based on the survey result revealed that the motivation is significant and positive impact on teacher performance, organizational commitment to significant and positive impact the performance of teachers. Transformational leadership does’not effect the performance of teachers, organizational commitment weaken the influence of motivation on teacher performance ang transformational leadership to weaken the influence of organizational commitment on teacher performance.
