Abstract

The reality of the economic crisis and the rality employment to be one background that show to the important role of human resources. Not only holds administrative roles, but also has been transformed as human capital, the person who is behind all of the operational processes of the company. To maintain the performance of employees, required an engagement, competency, and job satisfication of employee. This study aims to determine the effect of employee engagement and competence of the performance and job satisfication of employee wuthin the Tax Office of Madya Semarang. Samples are 107 respondent, with sampling technique that is saturated sampling (census), in which all members of the population sampled. The results showed that (1). Competency positive and significant impact on job satisfication (2). Employee Engagement positive and significant impact on job satisfication (3). Competency positive and significant impact on employee performance (4). Employee Engagement positive not significant impact on employee performance (5). Job Satisfication and significant positive effect on employee performance (6). Job Satisfication on Employee performance mediate competence (7).
