Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the role of the principal’s supervision moderating the influence of teachers’ competences and motivation to teachers’ performance of all state yunior high schools in Sragi District, Pekalongan Regency. This study uses explanatory research. It’s nalyzing research is descriptive and regression . The population in this study were teachers who taught at the State Yunior High School in Sragi District, Pekalongan Regency, total of 150 people. Primary data was collected using a questionnaire containing four variables, namely teachers’ competences, motivation, principal’s supervision, and teacher’s performance. Variable measurement is done by using Likert Scale. Technical analysis data uses multiple regression analysis model testing, Test Fit Model uses F test (ANOVA), and the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square). Hypothesis test and Moderation test use the t test. The results showed that; teachers’ competences don’t give effect on teachers’ performance, motivation doesn’t give effect on teachers’ performance, principal’s supervision gives positive effect on teachers’ performance, principal’s supervision doesn’t moderate the effect to teacher’s competences on teacher’ performance, principal’s supervision doesn’t moderate the effect to motivation on teachers’ performance.
