Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of Employee Engagement and Quality of Work Life of the performance with the mediation of organizational commitment (a case study on Food Security Office and the Department of Agriculture, Animal husbandry and Marine Pekalongan). The population in this study were employees of the Office of Food Security and the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Marine Pekalongan numbered 98 people. Measurement instrument answers using a Likert scale of 7 (seven) alternative answers. Tests using the instrument validity and reliability, testing the model using the coefficient of determination and F test (Goodness of Fit). Testing this hypothesis using the t test with frequency distribution at significance level (α) of 5%. The results shown changes of variable Employee Engagement, Quality of Work Life and organizational commitment can be explained by the performance of employees in the model. Hypothesis test results shown that the quality of work life and significant positive effect on employee performance, organizational commitment does not mediate Employee Engagement and Quality of Work Life on employee performance.
