Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of competence and job characteristics on the performance of nurses and Mediation Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati hospitals. The research was conducted on nurses in RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati hospitals many as 250 people. Sampling by the formula Slovin get a sample of 125 samples.Data analysis using matrix components of validity test, reliability test with Cronbach alpha, multiple regression analysis, t test and r2 with adjusted r-square. The survey results revealed that the competence of significant positive effect on OCB, characteristic of the work significant positive effect on OCB, competence significant positive effect on the performance of nurses, characteristic of the work significant positive effect on the performance of nurses, OCB significant positive effect on the performance of nurses, OCB does not mediate competence the performance of nurses and OCB does not mediate job characteristics on the performance of nurses in RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati hospitals.
