Abstract

As an organization in public health service field, employee performance of Dr. Soeselo District Hospital influences the service quality of this organizational unit..This research is intended to analyze and test the hyothesis about the effect between variables of LMX to the working performance either directly or mediated by organizational committment and culture organizational as mediator of Dr. Soeselo Distric Hospital of Tegal Regency. This resarch is an explanatory research with primary data and purposive sampling method of 175 samples of 673 samples population of hospital employees. Data sampling was using questionairres and instrumental test of validity and reliability tests. Data were analyzed with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Sosial Sciences). Result shows that Leader Member Exchange positively and significantly influences the organizational commitment. Organizational commitment and Leader Member Exchange positively and significantly influences working performances. Leader member exchange does not influence working performance and organizational commitment mediation. Organizational culture does not moderate the effect of LMX to organizational commitment and the effect of LMX to working performance. Organizational culture moderate the influence of organizational commitment to working performance. Suggestions given: There is a need to improve the superior and subordinate relationship to improve working perofrmance by growing organizational culture and improving organizational commitment.
