Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Competency and Quality of Work Life (QWL) of the performance with the mediation of job satisfaction (a case study on docter Soeselo Public Hospital of Tegal District). The population in this study were employees of the docter Soeselo Public Hospital of Tegal District numbered 171 people. Measurement instrument answers using a Likert scale of 7 (seven) alternative answers. Tests using the instrument validity and reliability, testing the model using the coefficient of determination and F test (Goodness of Fit). Testing this hypothesis using the t test with frequency distribution at significance level (α) of 5%. Results showen changes of variable Competency, Quality of Work Life and Job Satisfaction can be explained by the performance of employees in the model. Hypothesis test results showed that the Competency and Job Satisfaction significant positive effect on employee performance, job satisfaction does not mediate Competency on empolye performmance ,Quality of Work Life (QWL) significant positive effect on job satisfaction Quality of Work Life (QWL) does not effect on employee performance, Job Satisfaction full mediation Quality of Work Life on employee performance.
