Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of personality , work environment and career development on teacher performance with mediation of organizational commitment . This research was conducted at the elementary school teacher 's status as a civil servant ( PNS ) at the District Education Office Unit Fur Rembang totaling 117 people . The sampling technique using purposive sampling method , the method of sampling using the criteria . The number of samples in the study amounted to 107 respondents . The results of the analysis and discussion showed that personality not effect on organizational commitment , work environment positive and significant effect on organizational commitment , career development is not effect on organizational commitment , personality positive and significant effect on teacher performance , work environment positive and significant effect on teacher performance , career development not effect on teacher performance and Organizational Commitment not effect on teacher performance. The analysis showed that personality effect the performance of the teacher directly, work environment directly effect teacher performance and career development has not direct effect on teacher performance .
