Abstract

As one of literary works, film has been familiar to most people. The film may cover up reality as well as fiction. By watching the film, there are some values that we can learn. The movie of Fifty Shades of grey, by Sam Taylor Johnson present a story about the problems psychological conflicts. The approach to the study which is used by the writer to analyze the psychological conflict of Christian Grey toward his abnormal personality is Abraham Maslow’s neccessity analysis. They are anxious, fear, insecurity, guilt, anger and dissatisaction. Christian Grey is a man who has an abnormal personality. He was born from a complicatedfamily. He adopted son and suffers from sexual violence when he is 16 years old that makeshim afraid of setting relation with woman until adulthood. From this family background Christian Grey’s character becomes hard, he does not believe with women, but when he meets a woman name aAnastasia Steel (Ana), he is more open his views about woman. The writer wants to convey to the reader,if not all people have a perfect life. The analysis of the psychological conflictsto know the individual personality. By exploring the behavior of individual personality or the background of his past.
