Abstract

This research paper is entitled Stereotypes of Moslem in The United States as Reflected in Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan Movie.The objectives of the study are to describe the Stereotypes of Moslem in the United States in Reflected in Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan Movie, to explain Asperger's syndrome , to explain the moral values of My Name is Khan Movie,to find out how does the writer explain My Name is Khan as reader-response criticism. As a descriptive qualitative, the study was conducted by collecting any relevant data and information about the topic or problem of the study. This study focuses on Stereotypes of Moslem in the United States as Reflected in Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan Movie. In this research, there are that film wants to argue the issue of associating Islam with terrorism. “My name is Khan, I am not a terrorist “so the words were often expressed Rizwan Khan. In this film a lot of the reality of life that was displayed, didn’t forget the scenario entrust the moral messages inspiring for the audience. Hopefully the story Riswan Khan can inspire us.This film was universal so worth watched by anyone because the film was loaded with moral messages, which were either expressed or implied.My Name is Khan managed to give a fresh perspective to the audience about loving and diversity, cross-cultural relations, ethnicity, race, and religion. That in this world, man or human being actually just divided into two, namely good human being who was always doing well and bad human beings who were always doing evil, such advice was always expressed by the mother to Rizwan.
