Abstract

This research paper entitled Interlanguage of Semarang Multinational School’s Students In Speaking English is aimed to find out the types of interlanguage which the students produced in the dialogues and to describe the factors interfere the students’ English. The study was designed in descriptive qualitative method. The analysis was based on the theory of interlanguage (IL) proposed by Selinker (1972). The types of common interlanguage are articles (13,3%), irregular past (16,8%), copula be (7,96%), and others (30,1%). The interlanguage interfered by such factors as environment, social background, and intelligence.
