Abstract
This research paper analyzed the three characters in Beauty and The Beast Movie. Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis approach id, ego, superego are used to analyze the character of those three characters; Belle, Gaston, and The Beast. The movie was created by Bill Condon and released by Walt Disney Pictures.inc in 2017. This research applied qualitative study, the sources of data are derived from the script of the characters utterances. She found that the three characters have interrelated internal and external problems. Gaston loves Belle but she does not receive his propose. Belle loves Beast however Beast is not confident to love Belle because of his appearance. At the end their problems can be solved. The good persons, Belle and Beast, get their best to live and love each other.
