Abstract
This research was about the Exploitation that occurs in Divergent (2014) movie, that analyzed using Marxist approach. That entittled “EXPLOITATION REFLECTED IN NEIL BURGER’SDIVERGENT (2014)”. The purpose of this study were toknow the characteristics of the Exploited and Exploiting characters in Divergent movie, Exploiting characters’ ideas about Exploited characters in Divergent movie, and the Exploitation found in Divergent movie. This research was qualitative descriptive research method, used two data sources. The first the researcher used Divergent movie by Neil Burger which was published in 2014, as the main source. Second data source used some references from books and internet to support the analysis. The findings showed about the characteristics of the Exploited and Exploiting characters in Divergent movie, Exploiting characters’ ideas about Exploited characters in Divergent movie, and the Exploitation found in Divergent movie.
