Abstract
This study is aimed to enhance the knowledge of structuralism consisting of the characters in the movie, the setting and the conflicts found in the Moana (2016) film. This study uses the theory of Structuralism containing intrinsic elements of the literary work which was elaborated by Rene and Wellek, and uses the theory by Nurgiyantoro to analyze data. The data were collected by watching the movie and reading the movie script. After that the researcher made a list of expressions showing the character, setting and conflicts in the movie. They were drawn in utterances and actions of the main character in the movie. The study found two types of characters, settings and two types of conflicts.
