Abstract
This study aims to analyze inflation in Indonesia by using New Keynesian Phillips Curve (NKPC). Based on NKPC, there are three models that can be used to analyze inflation in Indonesia. That is forward-looking model, backward-looking model and model Gali-Getler model (hybrid model). Based on the results of classical assumption detection shows that only a backword-looking model that meets the classical assumptions required in the OLS (Ordinary Lesat Square). Based on regression results using backward-looking model shows that the previous price level has a positive effect on domestic inflation as well as domestic output gap, while the world output gap does not affect domestic inflation. Thus, Indonesia's inflation after the 2008 crisis is more determined by domestic factors than foreign factors. This means that openness economic has not yet had an impact in determining inflation in Indonesia. Key word: Inflation, output gap, backward-looking, forward-looking, Gali-Getler model.
