Abstract

Seiring perkembangan zaman saat ini, IPTEK (Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi) berkembang sangat pesat, dengan kemajuan IPTEK saat ini banyak manfaat dan kemudahan yang sangat tak terbatas. Banyak peralatan canggih yang di ciptakan dan digunakan saat ini, misalnya Android yang nantinya bisa dijadikan sebuah alat untuk pengukuran tinggi dan berat badan. Dari hasil perencanaan tersebut penulis akan membuat alat pengukur tinggi dan berat badan dengan menerapkan sensor ultrasonik dan sensor loadcell dengan mengunakan arduino dan berbasis android. Alat ini dirancang dengan menggunakan perangkat keras seperti arduino uno R3, Modul wifi ESP-8266, Smartphone, sensor ultrasonik serta sensor loadcell untuk mendeteksi tinggi dan berat badan seseorang. Sensor ultrasonik ini nantinya akan mendeteksi tinggi badan dan sensor loadcell akan mendeteksi berat badan yang akan dikontrol oleh arduino uno R3 sebagai mikrokontrolernya. Selanjutnya dari arduino akan mengirim data tinggi dan berat badan secara real time ke smartphone menggunakan media koneksivitas wifi, aplikasi pengukur tinggi dan berat badan dismartphone akan menampilkan data tersebut yang telah diterima dari arduino. Along with the development of the current era, science and technology is developing very rapidly, with the progress of science and technology today many benefits and conveniences are very unlimited. Many sophisticated equipment that is created and used today, such as Android which can later be used as a tool for measuring height and weight. From the results of the planning, the writer will make height and weight gauges by applying ultrasonic sensors and loadcell sensors using Arduino and Android-based. This tool is designed using hardware such as Arduino Uno R3, WiFi Module ESP-8266, Smartphone, ultrasonic sensor and loadcell sensor to detect a person's height and weight. This ultrasonic sensor will detect height and loadcell sensor will detect the weight that will be controlled by Arduino Uno R3 as the microcontroller. Furthermore from Arduino will send height and weight data in real time to the smartphone using WiFi connectivity media, the height and weight measurement application on smartphone will display the data that has been received from Arduino.
