Abstract

Dalam perkembangan dan kemajuan teknologi informasi dari zaman ke zaman meningkat pesat, termasuk dalam bidang telekomunikasi dan robotika. Robot merupakan alat buatan manusia yang digunakan untuk membantu atau dapat juga menggantikan tugas manusia. Dibeberapa kasus, robot bisa menjadi solusi untuk menangani permasalahaniyang berbahaya contohnya seperti kasus menjinakkan bomb dengan robot yang dikendalikan oleh manusia atau memindahkan barang – barang yang memiliki beban yang berat, yang tentunya dibutuhkan manusia untuk mengontrol agar lebih fleksibel dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan. Sensor Accelerometer adalah sensor yang digunakan untuk mengukur percepatan suatu objek. Accelerometer dapat mengukur percepatan dinamis dan percepatan statis. Pengukuran dinamis adalah pengukuran percepatan pada objek bergerak, sedangkan pengukuran statis adalah pengukuran terhadap gravitasi bumi. Sensor Accelerometer akan menghasilkan nilai melalui pengukuran percepatan suatu objek yang akan diproses oleh mikrokontroler arduino dan dikirim ke modul L298N menghasilkan gerak pada motor DC sehingga robot dapat bergerak. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sistem yang dapat dihubungkan dan dikendalikan melalui smartphone android, yang dapat menghasilkan output gerakan pada robot. In the development and progress of information technology from time to time increased rapidly, including in the field of telecommunications and robotics. Robots are man-made tools that are used to help or can also replace human tasks. In some cases, robots can be a solution to deal with dangerous problems such as the case of defusing a bomb with a robot controlled by humans or moving things that have a heavy burden, which of course humans need to control to be more flexible in completing work. Accelerometer sensor is a sensor used to measure the acceleration of an object. An accelerometer can measure dynamic acceleration and static acceleration. Dynamic measurements are measurements of acceleration on moving objects, while static measurements are measurements of Earth's gravity. Accelerometer sensor will produce values through the measurement of acceleration of an object that will be processed by an arduino microcontroller and sent to the module L298N produces motion on a DC motor so that the robot can move. In this study using a system that can be connected and controlled through an Android smartphone, which can produce movement output on the robot.
