Abstract
One of the most famous Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in Indonesia, PT Telkom Indonesia, with internet data products for companies provided by Astinet, Metro-E, and VPNIP, although, the company provides effective and fast time to use service changes. internet data due to the smooth operation of the company in order to continue running. To overcome this, artificial intelligence can be used by using the Lance and Williams algorithm and Case-Based Reasoning methods developed in the form of applications that can provide solutions to problem solving in customer companies and indicator lights on modems that can be accessed by corporate customers. In this research, companies can conduct consultations by selecting indicators that correspond to the circumstances that occur, each indicator is given a weighting of 1 that can provide quick and simple calculations, facing struggles compared to indicators weighing higher levels of accuracy. The highest consultation results can be made handling solutions, get the highest consultation results ≤ 20% then the solution cannot be used then enter into revision, the value of 'a' is the amount related between the indicator during consultation and data in the database, the more 'a' the higher of the level of similarity will be.
