Abstract
Pertanian merupakan salah satu sektor ekonomi penting bagi Negara Indonesia karena itu Negara Indonesia disebut juga Negara agraris, yang sebagian besar penduduknya mempunyai mata pencaharian sebagai petani. Di era globalisasi saat ini para petani juga dituntut untuk semakin cermat dalam memilih tanaman apa saja yang cocok mereka tanam. Supaya dapat meminimalisir terjadinya gagal panen yang dapat merugikan para petani dari segi finansial dan waktu. Dari permasalahan tersebut, munculah sebuah penelitian untuk membuat sebuah program sistem pendukung keputusan penentuan jenis tanaman berbasis web yang bertujuan agar untuk mempermudahkan para petani menentukan jenis tanaman apa saja yang cocok untuk mereka tanaman dilahan mereka masingmasing. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode Decision tree, yaitu model prediksi menggunakan struktur pohon atau struktur berhirarki, metode decision tree ini memiliki kemampuan mem- break down proses pengambilan keputusan yang kompleks menjadi lebih simpel. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan penentuan jenis tanaman berdasarkan ketinggian dan curah hujan berbasis web. Agriculture is one of the important economic sectors for the State of Indonesia, therefore the State of Indonesia is also called an agrarian country, where most of the population has a livelihood as farmers. In the current era of globalization, farmers are also required to be more careful in choosing whatever plants they are suitable for planting. In order to minimize the occurrence of crop failure that can harm farmers in financial and time terms. From these problems, a study emerged to create a decision support system program for web-based crop types aimed at making it easier for farmers to determine what types of plants are suitable for their crops in their respective fields. This research was conducted using the method Decision tree, namely the prediction model using a tree structure or hierarchical structure, decision tree method has the ability to break down mem- complex decision-making process becomes more simple. The results of this study are a decision support system for determining plant species based on height and web-based rainfall.
