Abstract
This study discusses racial discrimination that occurs in Hidden Figures movie using racism theory. The researcher discusses racial discrimination by analyzed the causes and effects of institutional racism. This research used qualitative method. The researcher retrieved the data by watching movies, reading screenplay, and categorizing racism acts in specific themes. Later the data was analyzed using institutional racism theory. The result showed the causes and how racial discrimination in the form of institutional racism are reflected in the movie.
