Abstract

Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Tengah memerlukan koneksi internet untuk mengintegrasikan data ke Dinas Kesehatan Kota dan/atau Kabupaten. Maka Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Tengah menginginkan suatu koneksi yang stabil dan untuk meminimalisir down time. Oleh karena itu, timbul solusi untuk menggunakan jaringan failover BGP dengan metode ECMP (Equal Cost Multi Path). Pemilihan penerapan teknik failover karena proses perpindahan dari link primary ke link backup, link primary akan langsung berpindah ke link backup jika link primary berpindah secara otomatis sehingga kualitas konektivitas dapat selalu terjaga. Failover dengan metode ECMP dapat menggunakan link koneksi internet secara bergantian sehingga dapat mendistribusikan beban trafik secara merata pada kedua link sedangkan efek failover dihasilkan jika salah satu link terputus maka beban trafik akan secara otomatis berpindah ke link koneksi lain yang masih aktif. The Central Java Provincial Health Office requires an internet connection to integrate data into the City and / or District Health Offices. So the Central Java Provincial Health Office Service requested a stable connection and to minimize downtime. Therefore, a solution arises for using BGP failover networks with the ECMP method. The selection of the application of the technique failed from the process of moving from the primary link to the backup link, the primary link will move directly to the backup link if the primary link moves automatically, so that connectivity quality can be done well. The author also uses the ECMP (Equal Cost Multi Path) method which is expected to show failover with the ECMP method can use an internet connection link that can be replaced in accordance with consolidated traffic on the two links generated by failover generated by one of the broken links, the traffic costs will automatically be automatically switch to another connection link that is still active.
