Abstract

Karena adanya perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat dan persaingan industri global yang sangat ketat, maka Home Decorindo akan memperbarui sistem penjualannya. Hingga saat ini penjualan yang dilakukan Home Decorindo masih menggunakan cara konvensional, yaitu dengan telepon kemudian pembeli datang ke lokasi untuk melihat barang secara langsung. Dengan sistem informasi penjualan yang demikian dirasakan masih memiliki banyak kekurangan, antara lain kurangnya informasi produk yang diberikan, proses update harga dan gambar produk yang kurang menguntungkan baik dari segi biaya maupun waktu. Salah satu wadah untuk mendapatkan dan menyebarkan informasi tersebut yaitu menggunakan media website dan smartphone android, karena aksesnya yang mudah dan tampilannya yang menarik serta didalamnya dapat berisi gambar, teks dan animasi sehingga pengguna menjadi mudah dan nyaman dalam mencari informasi yang di inginkan. Pada penelitian ini penulis akan mengimplementasikan suatu sistem informasi yang dapat membantu Home Decorindo dalam memepermudah penjualan produk-produknya dengan judul sistem informasi penjualan produk berbasis web mobile pada Home Decorindo. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membuat penjualan produk dari Home Decorindo lebih efektif dan efisien. Abstract Due to the rapid technological development and fierce global industry competition, Home Decorindo will renew its sales system. Until now, sales made by Home Decorindo still use conventional methods, namely by telephone and then buyers come to the location to see the goods directly. With such a sales information system, there are still many shortcomings, including the lack of product information provided, the price update process and the unfavorable product image in terms of both cost and time. One of the containers to obtain and disseminate the information is using the website and android smartphone media, because of its easy access and attractive appearance and can contain images, text and animations so that the user becomes easy and comfortable in finding the desired information. In this study the author will implement an information system that can help Home Decorindo facilitate sales of its products under the title of a web-based mobile product sales information system at Home Decorindo. This system is expected to make product sales from Home Decorindo more effective and efficient.
