Abstract

Perkembangan laptop yang begitu drastis membuat daya beli konsumen semakin tinggi dan kurangnya informasi serta pengetahuan konsumen mengenai kriteria dan spesifikasi laptop tentunya membuat konsumen merasa kesulitan dan kebingungan dalam memilih laptop yang diinginkan dan dibutuhkan karena banyak pilihan yang ditawarkan mulai dari merek, dan harga yang bervariasi. Untuk itu konsumen harus cermat dalam mempertimbangkan kriteria dan spesifikasi laptop yang akan dipilih. Untuk membantu memudahkan konsumen dalam memilih laptop yang tepat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan spesifikasi yang diinginkan, untuk itu konsumen memerlukan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat digunakan untuk memilih, mengelompokkan kriteria-kriteria yang dibutuhkan dan dapat memberikan rekomendasi laptop sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen menggunakan TOPSIS. Kriteria penilaian pemilihan laptop menggunakan metode TOPSIS meliputi merk, jenis processor, harga, kapasitas RAM, kapasitas HDD dan ukuran layar. Pembuatan sistem pendukung keputusan mengunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sebagai databasenya dalam penelitian. Hasil rekomendasi sistem pendukung keputusan pemilihan laptop menggunakan metode TOPSIS berdasarkan nilai TOPSIS terbesar sampai dengan nilai TOPSIS terkecil. Abstract The development of a laptop that is so drastic makes consumers higher purchasing power and the lack of information and consumer knowledge about the criteria and specifications of the laptop certainly makes consumers feel difficulty and confusion in choosing a laptop that is wanted and needed because of the many choices offered ranging from brands, and varying prices. For that consumers must be careful in considering the criteria and specifications of the laptop to be chosen. To help facilitate consumers in choosing the right laptop and in accordance with the needs and desired specifications, for that consumers need a decision support system that can be used to choose, classify the criteria needed and can provide laptop recommendations according to consumer needs using TOPSIS. The criteria for evaluating a laptop selection using the TOPSIS method include brand, processor type, price, RAM capacity, HDD capacity and screen size. Making a decision support system using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database in research. The results of laptop selection decision support system recommendations use the TOPSIS method based on the largest TOPSIS value to the smallest TOPSIS value
