Abstract
The purpose of this study wi to esam:nc the role olprofitabilityas a mediating satiable in influencing fern salue. This study uses a sample of manufaciurmg companies listed on the indonesia Stock Ezchange from 2016 to 20111. The data used is panel data. with dataanalysas using multiple regression. Based on the Sobel lest. profitabiLity plays a role in mediating the effect of firm site on firm salue. The effect of fim site on firm sabe is indirect. howeser. through profitability. Therefore, the market price oldie shates of large.scale companies will increase if the resailùng profitability is high. The capital stroctuac and managerial ossnership directly influence firm salue. The results shossed that managerial ownership and firm size had a positive effect on profitability. while capital structure had no eflct on profitability. Capital structure and managerial ownership hase a ncgatisc effect on firm salue. sshik firm size and profitabilff y hase a positise effect on firm salue. The main finding ofthis study is that profitability acts as an inlersening satiable in mediating the relationship between firm size and firm salue.
