Abstract
Huruf hijaiyah sangatlah penting untuk dipelajari, karena itu merupakan kunci dasar agar bisa membaca Al-Quran. Pada umumnya pengenalan huruf hijaiyah dilakukan dengan didampingi oleh guru ngaji. Metode yang digunakan dalam belajar mengaji yaitu terlebih dahulu guru ngaji memberikan contoh cara membaca huruf hijaiyah. Selanjutnya para murid mengikutinya dengan mengucapkan ulang huruf tersebut. Setelah itu guru ngaji menguji kemampuan para murid dengan menyuruh mereka untuk membaca ulang huruf hijaiyah yang telah disampaikan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah mereka telah menguasai materi atau tidak, karena sering terjadi kepada anak-anak terkadang mereka lupa dengan huruf hijaiyah yang telah diajarkan. Dari permasalahan tersebut penulis ingin membuat sebuah alat pengenalan huruf hijaiyah untuk membantu anak-anak dalam belajar huruf hijaiyah. Alat ini menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Mega 2560 sebagai kontrol utama pada sistem. DFPlayer Mini digunakan sebagai pemutar file suara huruf hijaiyah yang tersimpan pada SD Card. Push button digunakan sebagai input, sedangkan pada output menggunakan LCD 16x2 untuk menampilkan tulisan huruf hijaiyah dan speaker sebagai keluaran suara huruf hijaiyah. The hijaiyah letter is very important to learn, because it is the basic key to being able to read the Al-Quran. In general the introduction of hijaiyah letters is carried out accompanied by a Koran teacher. The method used in learning the Koran is that the Koran teacher first provides an example of how to read hijaiyah letters. Then the students followed suit by repeating the letter. After that the Koran teacher tested the students' abilities by asking them to reread the hijaiyah letters that had been conveyed. This is done to find out whether they have mastered the material or not, because it often happens to children that sometimes they forget the hijaiyah letters that have been taught. From these problems the writer wants to make a hijaiyah letter recognition tool to help children in learning hijaiyah letters. This tool uses the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller as the main control on the system. DFPlayer Mini is used as a player for hijaiyah sound files stored on the SD Card. The push button is used as input, while the output uses a 16x2 LCD to display hijaiyah letters and a speaker as a hijaiyah sound output.
