Abstract

As stated in Article 5 paragraph (3) letter e of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation which states that government affairs are in the field of registration and identification of motorized vehicles and drivers, law enforcement, operational management and traffic engineering. , as well as traffic education by the Indonesian National Police. Enforcement of traffic rules is carried out as an action in terms of changing behavior patterns towards errors or violations committed by motorists. People sometimes still think that mistakes are made if they are monitored by law enforcement officers, so sometimes drivers ignore or don't comply with road safety rules. In the current era, the use of electronic media in the field of traffic has become an innovation made by the traffic police. Technological advances in this era of globalization help law enforcement as a step to overcome the problem of violations, especially violations that occur on the highway. The Traffic Police implement the latest ticketing system known as E-Tilang. E-tickets or ETLE (Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement) is a system of ticketing processes carried out by the Traffic police by applying the digitalization method of technology, namely the use of the CCTV system as a supervisor.
