Abstract
Suplai energi listrik dari PLN ke konsumen tidak dijamin tersedia setiap saat. terkadang terjadi gangguan yang menyebabkan pemadaman, Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan backup suplai catu daya agar terjaga kebutuhan energi listrik tersebut. salah satunya menggunakan genset sebagai alternatif backup sumber energi listrik utama. namun pada saat ini sistem penggunaan genset sebagai backup sumber energi listrik utama masih menggunakan perpindahan secara manual. Hal ini akan memerlukan tenaga dan waktu lebih ketika terjadi pemadaman setiap waktu. Dengan Berkembangnya teknologi saat ini, diperlukan sistem otomatis agar catudaya dapat berpindahh dari tegangan utama PLN ke tegangan Backup yaitu Genset. diperlukan sebuah panel sebagai pendukung pengontrolan Catu daya bahkan sistem yang dapat di monitor catu daya utama maupun backup, maka dari itu dibuatkan sistem ATS " Automatic transfer Switch". ATS ini digunakan untuk memonitoring Genset dari jarak jauh menggunakan WEB-IoT. Alat ini dirancang menggunakan mikrokontroller yang bekerja berdasarkan sensor arus dan tegangan dan terhubung dengan Web sehingga memudahkan users memonitoring penggunaan genset. The supply of electrical energy from PLN to consumers is not guaranteed to be available at all times. sometimes there are disturbances that cause blackouts, therefore a backup of the power supply is needed to maintain the need for electrical energy. one of them is using a generator as an alternative to backup the main electrical energy source. but at this time the system of using generators as a backup for the main electrical energy source still uses manual displacement. This will require more energy and time when there are blackouts every time. With the development of current technology, an automatic system is needed so that the power supply can switch from the main PLN voltage to the backup voltage, namely generator. a panel is needed as a support for controlling the power supply and even a system that can monitor the main or backup power supply, therefore the ATS "Automatic Transfer Switch" system was made. This ATS is used to monitor generators remotely using WEB-IoT. This tool is designed using a microcontroller that works based on current and voltage sensors and is connected to the Web, making it easier for users to monitor the use of generators.
