Abstract

The Regional Autonomy Law has the effect that the Regional Government has the authority to manage regional assets and revenues independently. Semarang City is an area in the Central Java Province which is managed by the regional government of Semarang which is required to be able to carry out autonomy properly. One of the things that is done is the management of land and building assets owned by the government of Semarang city which functioned for the public interest and the administration of the regional government of Semarang. data on land assets owned by Semarang city government which are recorded in the Identity Card owned by the Regional Financial and Asset Management Office (DPKAD) there are 3,092 land parcels of assets managed by the Regional Secretariat, Institutions under the Semarang City Government and management by sub-districts and villages. Land assets managed by the city government of Semarang, currently considered to be not optimal. The application location information management system of the Semarang city government land assets is planned to utilize the Google Maps Application Programming Interface (API), can be seen as a solution that helps managing officers recognize asset locations land and provide competitive advantages and integrated advantages in the effort of transparency of Semarang city government for assets owned and the achievement of Semarang city towards semarang be smart city. With the support of the location management information system application, the asset assets of the Semarang city government which can represent referrals to the location of land assets which are actually perceived by far are expected to be used effectively to manage, control and control land assets.
