Abstract
Kemajuan teknologi di bidang IT saat ini semakin pesat dan modern. Salah satu kemajuan teknologi dalam bidang IT adalah ponsel atau handphone. Sekarang ini handphone sudah menjadi kebutuhan primer bagi masyarakat dalam melakukan berbagai kegiatan, mulai dari bertukar informasi baik baik dalam pekerjaan kantor maupun informasi perkuliahan. Seiring berjalannya waktu fitur fitur yang terdapat pada handphone juga semakin beragam. Kurangnya informasi serta pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai merek, harga, kamera dan spesifikasi handphone lainnya membuat konsumen marasa kebingungan dalam memilih handphone. Dari permasalahan tersebut maka dibuatlah sebuah aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan pemilihan handphone berbasis web dibuat menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dan TOPSIS. Tujuan dari pembuatan aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan ini adalah untuk memudahkan konsumen dalam memilih handphone yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang diinginkan. Advances in technology in the IT field are now increasingly rapid and modern. One of the technological advances in the IT field is cellphones or cellphones. Now mobile phones have become a primary need for the community in carrying out various activities, ranging from exchanging information both in office work and lecture information. Over time the features found on mobile phones are also increasingly diverse. Lack of information and public knowledge about brands, prices, cameras and other mobile specifications make consumers feel confused in choosing a cellphone. From these problems, an application based decision making system for mobile phone selection was made using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and TOPSIS methods. The purpose of making this decision support system application is to make it casier for consumers to choose mobile phones that fit the desired criteria.
