Abstract
Tempat wisata didaerah Palembang sangat beragam mulai dari tempat wisata alam, wisata buatan, dan wisata minat khusus. Kurangnya publikasi menyebebkan kota ini sebagai daerah wisata kurang tergali secara maksimal. Kendala lain yang menghadang adalah minimnya informasi pariwisata yang belum dapat diakses secara luas.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk mencari lokasi tempat wisata di Kota Palembang dengan menggunakan metode Haversine. Hasil perhitungan pada aplikasi pencarian lokasi tempat wisata kota Palembang dengan menggunakan metode Harversine dengan perhitungan manual menggunakan metode Harversine didapatkan hasil yang sama. Aplikasi pencarian lokasi tempat wisata kota Palembang dengan menggunakan metode Harversine dapat menampilkan posisi pengguna saat ini, menampilkan rute tempat wisata kota Palembang dan menghitung jarak dari posisi pengguna saat ini ke tempat wisata kota Palembang dengan menggunakan metode Haversine pada platform Android. Untuk selanjutnya penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan agar ditambahkan fasilitas simpan peta lokasi tempat wisata kota Palembang dan dibandingkan dengan metode pengukuran jarak lainnya seperti djikstra atau euclidean distance The tourist attractions in Palembang are very diverse ranging from natural attractions, artificial tours, and special interest tours. The lack of publicity causes the city as a tourist area to be explored to the fullest. Another obstacle is the lack of tourism information that is not yet widely accessible. This study aims to create an application that can be used to search for tourist attractions in the city of Palembang using the Haversine method. The results of calculations on the search application for the tourist sites of the city of Palembang using the Harversine method with manual calculations using the Harversine method obtained the same results. The application to search for locations of Palembang city attractions using the Harversine method can display the user's current position, display the routes of Palembang city attractions and calculate the distance from the user's current position to Palembang city attractions using the Haversine method on the Android platform. Henceforth, this research can be developed so that added facilities to save map locations of Palembang city attractions and compare with other distance measurement methods such as djikstra or euclidean distance
