Abstract
Dalam mencari informasi lowongan pekerjaan, umumnya masyarakat masih menggunakan langkah-langkah manual. Yaitu dengan mendatangi perusahaan-perusahaan dan menanyakan apakah ada lowongan kerja yang tersedia. Atau dengan mencari informasi lowongan kerja pada majalah-majalah seperti koran, yang informasinya sangat singkat. Dengan memanfaatkan adanya teknologi informasi, maka dapat membuat atau menciptakan suatu sistem informasi untuk memudahkan para pelamar kerja dalam mencari infromasi lowongan kerja. Informasi yang ditukarkan harus melalui standarisasi, sehingga diperlukan teknologi web service agar pertukaran data menjadi format teks yang diapat diakses oleh berbagai jaringan maupun plaform. Salah satu yang dapat menerapkan teknologi yang seperti itu adalah pada perangkat android. Sehingga dapat dilakukan penelitian mengenai implementasi webservice untuk sistem informasi lowongan kerja online berbasis android. Adapun sistem informasi tersebut yang akan digunakan oleh penulis adalah android studio sebagai editor dan bahasa pemrograman kotlin. Serta bahasa pemrograman PHP untuk bagian web server yang nantinya akan mengendalikan web service sebagai pertukaran datanya. Dengan bergitu, diharapkan penelitian ini nantinya dapat mempermudah para pelamar kerja dalam mencari informasi lowongan kerja dan mempermudah perusahaan dalam mempublikasikan informasi lowongan kerja. In finding information on job vacancies, people generally still use manual steps. Namely by going to companies and asking if there are openings available. Or by looking for job information on magazines such as newspapers, the information is very short. By utilizing information technology, it can create or create an information system to facilitate job applicants in finding job information. The information exchanged must be standardized, so that web service technology is needed so that data exchange becomes a text format that can be accessed by various networks and platforms. One that can implement such technology is on an Android device. So that research can be done on the implementation of webservice for android-based online job information systems. The information system that will be used by the author is Android Studio as an editor and Kotlin programming language. As well as the PHP programming language for web server parts which later will control the web service in exchange for data. In this way, it is hoped that this research will be able to facilitate job applicants in finding job information and make it easier for companies to publish job information.
