Abstract

Zakat adalah penyisihan sebagian harta harta yang dimiliki seseorang (islam) yang sudah memenuhi haul (masa satu tahun) dan nishab (ukuran minimal yang akan dikenai wajib untuk berzakat). Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti di lingkungan masayarakat, pada umumnya masih banyak ditemukan masalah yang terjadi, salah satunya adalah bingung atau tidak mengetahui bagaimana cara menghitung zakat yang benar dan sesuai dengan aturan yang telah ditetapkan oleh Allah dan Rosul-Nya. Maka dari itu untuk mengatasi masalah yang masih sering terjadi diperlukan pengembangan sistem informasi sebagai salah satu solusi agar bisa membantu dan memudahkan masyarakat dalam melakukan perhitungan zakat. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan sistem ini adalah metode Prototype dengan arsitektur perancangan menggunakan UML, dan tools perancangan aplikasi program perangkat lunak menggunkan MIT App Inventor. Diharapkan dengan dibuatnya aplikasi kalkulator zakat profesi dan zakat harta berbasis android ini nantinya dapat membantu masyarakat dalam melakukan perhitungan. Selain itu juga memberikan informasi mengenai hadits dan tuntunan zakat, dan juga fitur pencarian lokasi rumah atau kantor zakat. Zakat is the allowance for a portion of assets owned by a person (Islam) who has fulfilled the haul (one year period) and nishab (the minimum size that will be subject to mandatory zakat). Based on observations made by researcher in the soscial human life, there are still many problems that occur in general, which is confused or do not know how to calculate the correct zakat and in accordance with the rules set by God and His Prophet. Therefore to overcome the problems that still often occur the development of information systems is needed as a solution to be able to help and facilitate the public in calculating zakat. The method used to develop this system is the Prototype method with the design architecture using UML, and application design tools for software programs using the MIT App Inventor. It is expected that the application of the profession-based zakat calculator and wealth-based zakat calculator based on android will later be able to assist the public in making calculations. It also provides information about the hadith and guidance on zakat, and also features a search for the location of the home or office of zakat.
