This empirical study aims to examine and analyze the influence between the board of directors, the frequency of board meetings, audit committees, independent commissioners, managerial ownership, and concentration of ownership on the performance of banking sector companies in Indonesia. The measurement used to test the company's performance is Tobin's Q. The method used to obtain samples in this empirical study is purposive sampling. The sample in this empirical study was 113 banking sector companies that were obtained from companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016-2018 period. This empirical study results show that the board of directors has a positive effect on company performance as measured using Tobin's Q. However, the frequency of board meetings, audit committees, independent commissioners, managerial ownership, and ownership concentration has no effect on company performance. The audit committee and independent commissioners have a positive but not significant relationship to company performance, while the frequency of board meetings, managerial ownership, and ownership concentration have a negative but significant relationship to company performance.
