Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan, Umur Perusahaan, Pertumbuhan Penjualan, Leverage dan Likuiditas terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dalam pemilihan sampel, dengan kriteria sampel merupakan perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2015-2018. Berdasarkan kriteria tersebut, diperoleh sampel sebanyak 244 menjadi 140 perusahaan selama empat tahun periode pengamatan. Hubungan dan atau pengaruh antar variable dijelaskan dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh Negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas (ROA). Umur Perusahaan berpengaruh Positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas (ROA). Pertumbuhan Penjualan berpengaruh Negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas (ROA). Leverage berpengaruh negative dan tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas (ROA). Likuiditas berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas (ROA). This study is a study that examines and analyzes the influence of Company Size, Company Age, Sales Growth, Leverage and Liquidity on the profitability of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2018. This study uses a purposive sampling method in sample selection, with sample criteria being companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2015-2018 period. Based on these criteria, a total of 244 samples were obtained to become 140 companies over a fouryear observation period. The relationship and or influence between variables is explained by using multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results showed that the size of the company had a negative and not significant effect on profitability (ROA). The age of the company has a positive and significant effect on profitability (ROA). Sales growth has a negative and not significant effect on profitability (ROA). Leverage has a negative and not significant effect on profitability (ROA). Liquidity has a negative and significant effect on profitability (ROA)
