Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis serta menjelaskan pengaruh motivasi, prestasi kerja dan pengalaman kerja terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang berkerja di PT POS Indonesia (PERSERO) cabang kantor POS SPP Erlangga Semarang. adapun variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi, prestasi kerja dan pengalaman kerja sedangkan variabel dependen adalah pegembangan karir. Penelitian ini memiliki responden sebanyak 80 orang karyawan. Pengambil data menggunakan data primer dengan metode pengumpulan kuesioner. Semua pernyataan yang terdapat didalam kuesioner diukur menggunakan skala likert dengan 5 (lima) peringkat jawaban yaitu sangat setuju, setuju, netral, tidak setuju dan sangat tidak setuju. Data hasil jawaban responden kemudian diolah menggunakan program SPSS 21. Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan karena besarnya nilai signifikansi 0,261> 0,05 dan beta = -,070 (negatif). (2) Prestasi kerja berpengaruh postif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan karena nilai signifikansi adalah sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai beta = 0,377 (positif). (3) Pengalaman kerja berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan karir dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai beta = 0,631 (positif). ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze and explain the influence of motivation, work performance and work experience on employee career development. The object of this research is employees who work at PT POS Indonesia (PERSERO), the POS SPP Erlangga Semarang branch. As for the independent variables in this study are motivation, work performance and work experience, while the dependent variable is career development. This study has respondents as many as 80 employees. Collecting data using primary data with a questionnaire collection method. All statements contained in the questionnaire are measured using a Likert scale with 5 (five) answer ratings, namely strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree and strongly disagree. The data from the respondents' answers were then processed using the SPSS 21 program. The results of the analysis can be concluded that (1) motivation has no effect on employee career development because the significance value is 0,261 > 0.05 and beta = -, 070 (negative). (2) Job performance has a positive and significant effect on employee career development because the significance value is 0.000 <0.05 and the beta value = 0.377 (positive). (3) Work experience affects career development
