Abstract
Kantor Distrik Navigasi Kelas II Semarang adalah kantor instansi pemerintah yang bergerak di bidang rambu-rambu kelauatan. Di dalam kantor ini Beberapa kegiatan baik pencatatan hingga pendataan masih di lakukan dengan cara manual. Salah satunya pada bagian Surat Masuk dan Surat Keluar, akibatnya data surat tercecer ataupun rusak, hal ini sangat merugikan pihak instansi. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Informasi Tracking Surat Masuk dan Surat Keluar Berbasis Web Di Kantor Distrik Navigasi Kelas II Semarang. Metode yang digunakan untuk sistem ini adalah metode waterfall. Sistem informasi tesebut mempunyai fitur yang sangat lengkap baik dari pengolahaan data pengguna, data surat masuk dan keluar, pelacakan surat yang sedang dikirim, notif WA, diposisi surat, data klasifikasi, data pimpinan, data asal/tujuan surat. Dari peneletian yang dilakukan oleh penulis pada Kantor Distrik Navigasi Kelas II Semarang di hasilkan sistem informasi tracking surat masuk dan surat keluar berbasis web dapat mempermudah dalam melakukan pengelolaan, dan sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efesiensi dan efektifitas kerja pegawai. ABSTRACT District Navigation Class II Semarang is an office of a government agency engaged in marine signs. In this office, several activities from recording to data collection are still done manually. One of them is in the Incoming and Outgoing Letters section, as a result the letter data is scattered or damaged, this is very detrimental to the agency. This study has a goal to design and build a Web-Based Information System for Tracking Incoming and Outgoing Mail at the District Navigation Class II Semarang. The method used for this system is the waterfall method. This information system has very complete features, both from processing user data, incoming and outgoing mail data, tracking mail that is being sent, WA notifications,letterpositions,classification data, leadership data, origin/destination data. From the research that the author conducted at District Navigation Class II Semarang, a web-based tracking information system for incoming and outgoing mail can make it easier to manage, and this system can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of employees'work.
