Abstract
Dinas Tenaga Kerja Kota Semarang merupakan salah satu instansi di Semarang yang melaksanakan urusan Pemerintahan Daerah di bidang Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi, yang memiliki permasalahan dalam pengelolaan surat menyurat terutama surat masuk. Semua dilakukan dengan cara manual dan belum menggunakan sistem yang terintegrasi, menyebabkan surat tersebut tidak teragendakan dengan baik. Serta, pada sistem penerimaan, pengedaran dan riwayat tindaklanjut surat, surat tidak bisa cepat diterima dikarenakan setiap surat yang berproses harus kembali lagi ke bagian agendaris sebelum diterima oleh bagian lainnya. Pihak eksternal juga tidak mendapatkan informasi tentang pengelolaan surat yang telah masuk secara langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall. Metode ini merupakan pendekatan terhadap pengimplementasian perangkat lunak yang dirancang dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu system Engineering, Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing dan Maintenance. Menurut penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, sistem informasi E-Agenda diharapkan dapat mempermudah dalam pengelolaan surat masuk, dan mengetahui riwayat perjalanan surat dari awal surat diinput, didistribusi sampai surat selesai ditindaklanjuti. Dengan begitu, hasilnya dapat disajikan dalam web. Abstract The Semarang City Dinas Tenaga Kerja is one of the agencies in Semarang that carries out regional government affairs in the field of Manpower and Transmigration, which has problems in managing correspondence, especially incoming letters. This is done manually and has not implemented information technology, Everything is done manually and has not used an integrated system, causing the letter to not be properly scheduled. Also, in the system of receiving, distributing and following up on letters, letters cannot be received quickly because each processed letter must return to the agendar section before being received by other sections. External parties also did not get information about the management of incoming mail directly. This research uses the waterfall method. This method is an approach to the implementation of software that is designed with several stages, namely system Engineering, Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and Maintenance. According to the research that has been carried out, the E-Agenda information system is expected to facilitate the management of incoming mail, and find out the history of the letter's journey from the beginning of the letter being inputted, distributed until the letter has been followed up. That way, the results can be presented on the web.
