Abstract

Illocutionary Acts Performed in Hillsong's Selected Song Lyrics is the title of this research article. In this study, the researcher hopes to determine the meaning and speech act function of utterances found in six of Hillsong's chosen song lyrics. Its goals are to identify the taxonomies of the speech acts and illocutionary acts used in six of Hillsong's Selected Song Lyrics. The analysis then turns to pragmatics to talk about illocutionary acts. The author used the descriptive qualitative method to examine the lyrics. The 123 utterances that make up the taxonomy of illocutionary acts consist of 115 representative utterances, 95 statements (77.2 percent), 20 confessions (16.3 percent), four declarative utterances, four declarations (3.3 percent), four expressive utterances, and four expressions of thankfulness (3.3 percent ). Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti berharap untuk mengetahui makna dan fungsi tindak tutur dari ujaran-ujaran yang ditemukan dalam enam lirik lagu pilihan Hillsong. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengidentifikasi taksonomi tindak tutur dan tindak ilokusi yang digunakan dalam enam Lirik Lagu Pilihan Hillsong. Analisis kemudian beralih ke pragmatik untuk membicarakan tindak ilokusi. Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengkaji liriknya. Ke-123 tuturan yang membentuk taksonomi tindak ilokusi terdiri dari 115 tuturan representatif, 95 tuturan (77,2 persen), 20 pengakuan (16,3 persen), empat tuturan deklaratif, empat tuturan pernyataan (3,3 persen), empat tuturan ekspresif, dan empat tuturan ekspresif. rasa syukur (3,3 persen).
