Abstract
Tujuan diker.jakannya riset ini rrerupakan buat menganalisa laktor- lal'1or apa saja vang mempengaruhi atensi mahasiswa akuntansi kepada penentuiin akuntan ataupun non akuntan. Faktor - faktor yang pengaruhi penentuan pekerjaan diarnati ciengan variabel lingkungan keria, pelatihan prnfesional, personalilas dan penghargaan finansial. Sampei ),ang digunakan claiam penelitian ini sebesar 94 responden sampei diperoleh dari sebagian universitas di kota Sertarang (IINISBANK' UNDIP, USM, UN1KA" UD[I{US). Hasil membuktikan variabel pelatihan profesional dan penghargaan finansial mempun,vai darnpak yang signiiikan kepada penen.ua* pekerjaan selakr-r akuntan ataupun non akuntan, namun variabel lingkungan kerja dan personalitas hasil anafisa mengunjukkan variable* variable itu tidak mempunyai akibal yang penting kepada penentran pekeriaan akuntan ataupun ncn akuntan. This stud.v airns to identift the variables that affect accounting students' desire in bec.oming oither accountants or non-accountants" The variables cf rvork environment- prafessional training, persoflality and tinancial rer.vards are v-je*,ed as fbctors that afl-ect job choice. The sarnple used in this research was 9,4 sample respcndents obtained from several universities in the city of Semarang (UNISBANK, UNDIP, USM" UNIKA, UDINUS). The results show that the variables of- profbssional training and financial rervards have a signiticant effbct on choosrng a career as afi accountant or non-accountant, but the rvork environnreut and personalif"- the results of the analysis shorv that these variables do not have a signilicant elfect on choosing a career as an accountant or non-accountant.
