Abstract
PT. Fuji Metec Semarang terletak di Kawasan Industri Lamicitra Semarang tepatnya di Tanjung Emas Export Processing Zone Semarang, Jawa Tengah Indonesia merupakan perusahaan manufactur pembuatan peralatan dan perlengkapan vending machine yang salah satu produksinya adalah wire harnes vending machine, perusahaan. Perusahaan berdiri pada bulan Maret 1996 yang didirikan Kubota Corporation Japan dengan modal Dollar Amerika: $5.000.000 (100%) pemilik Kubota yang dulu bernama PT Metec Semarang dan pada tahun 2017 diakuisisi oleh Fuji Electric Co., Ltd., group, Jepang dan berubah nama menjadi PT Fuji Metec Semarang. Perusahaan mempunyai jumlah karyawan tetap sebanyak 420 orang (data HRD PT.FMS Januari 2023). Perusahaan ini masih terdapat permasalahan dalam penggunaan jam kerja terhadap hasil produksi yang dihasilkan disetiap harinya. Sehingga permintaan barang yang harus dieksport masih belum bisa tercapai, untuk itu dilakukan analisa dan penerapan kaizen disetiap bagian kerja supaya output barang yang dihasilkan bisa memenuhi target sesuai delivery permintaan konsumen. Setelah dilakukan analisa masih banyak ditemukan waktu sia sia akibat perbaikan barang defect dari hasil produksi yang menjadi penyebab utama target tidak terpenuhi, ditemukan 2 rejeck penyebab utama yaitu pin rusak dan gohai. Agar kegiatan bisa dilakukan disemua bagian, maka Presiden direktur membuat kebijakan supaya setiap bagian kerja melaporkan kegiatan kaizen dengan melakukan analisa dibagian masing masing dengan mencari permasalahan yang terjadi, dilanjutkan menetapkan langkah penanggulangan yang tepat agar target bisa tercapai, sehingga perusahaan mendapatkan keuntungan. PT. Fuji Metec Semarang is located in the Lamicitra Industrial Area, Semarang, precisely in the Tanjung Emas Export Processing Zone, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The company was founded in March 1996 which was founded by Kubota Corporation Japan with capital in US Dollars: $5,000,000 (100%) owner of Kubota which was previously called PT Metec Semarang and in 2017 was acquired by Fuji Electric Co., Ltd., group, Japan and changed the name became PT Fuji Metec Semarang. The company has a total of 420 permanent employees (PT.FMS HRD data January 2023). This company still has problems in using working hours for the production results produced every day. So the demand for goods that must be exported still cannot be achieved, for this reason kaizen analysis and application is carried out in each work section so that the output of goods produced can meet delivery targets according to consumer demand. After carrying out the analysis, it was still found that there was a lot of wasted time due to repairing defective goods from production which was the cause of the main target not being met. Two main causes of rejection were found, namely broken pins and gohai. So that activities can be carried out in all sections, the President Director makes a policy so that each work section reports kaizen activities by carrying out an analysis in each section by looking for problems that occur, followed by determining appropriate countermeasures so that targets can be achieved, so that the company gets profit.
