Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan tanggapan siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Tambangan 1 terhadap materi kosakata dengan teknik jigsaw. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah daftar observasi, wawancara dengan seluruh siswa kelas enam SD Negeri Tambangan 1, silabus, dan soal kosakata. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah menggunakan teknik jigsaw rata-rata nilai siswa kelas VI mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan sebelum menggunakan teknik jigsaw dengan 36 siswa rata-rata nilai VI adalah 66,2, dan setelah menggunakan teknik jigsaw rata-rata skor meningkat menjadi 84,2. Tidak hanya itu, dengan menggunakan teknik jigsaw, suasana kelas siswa kelas VI SD Tambangan 1 menjadi lebih menarik, dan siswa menjadi lebih aktif bertanya kepada guru dan menjawab pertanyaan dari guru. Oleh karena itu, guru disarankan untuk memilih teknik pembelajaran yang untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. This study aims to determine the learning outcomes and responses of sixth graders at elementary school Tambangan I towards vocabulary material using the jigsaw technique. The instruments used in this study were observation lists, interviews with all sixth grade students at elementary school Tambangan I, a syllabus, and vocabulary questions. This research is based on case studies. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that after using the jigsaw technique, the average grade of sixth grade students has increased. This is evidenced by the fact that before using the jigsaw technique with 36 students, the average VI grade was 66.2, and after using the jigsaw technique, the average score increased to 84.2. Not only that, by using the jigsaw technique, the classroom atmosphere for sixth graders at elementary school Tambangan 1 became more interesting, and students became more active in asking questions of the teacher and answering questions from the teacher. Therefore, teachers are advised to choose the learning techniques to improve student learning outcomes.
