Abstract

This research paper analyzes Feminism Study applied in a short story ‗Cinderella‟ by Grimm Brothers. The Feminism theory will be focused on Radical Feminism according to the theory of Kate Millet in her book entitled ―Sexual Politics‖ published in 1970. The approach that the writer used in this study is Feminism Approach. The writer read the script of the short story and analyzed the short story to get the findings. The findings found in this story are the ideal woman for the character of Cinderella that society construct and the effect of the stereotyping based on Radical Feminism according to Kate Millet (Sexual politics,1970). The conclusion is the ideal woman constructed by the society and the stereotyping is not affected the character of Cinderella because at the end she still becomes herself who is kind and wise and puts aside the assumption that the physical appearance who is the most important thing for a woman.
