Abstract

Kegiatan perindustrian baik yang berskala besar maupun berskala kecil apabila dalam proses produksinya tidak mengindahkan keselamatan lingkungan hidup dapat menyebabkan masalah lingkungan, yaitu pencemaran lingkungan dan kerusakan lingkungan. Tentu saja harus dilakukan upaya agar kegiatan perindustrian yang dilaksanakan tidak menyebabkan pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan.Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Sango Ceramics Indonesia.PT. Sango Ceramics Indonesia merupakan salah satu dari perusahaan besar yang berada di daerah Semarang. Perusahaan ini memproduksi berbagai macam produk keramik seperti tableware ataupun stoneware seperti canister, soup plate, soup kembang, creamer kembang, salad plate, dinner plate, serta berbagai macam produk piring, mug, sauce, coffe dan berbagai macam produk pajangan yang terbuat dari bahan keramik, cangkir, mangkuk, dan hasil keramik lainnya. Semua aktivitas produksinya sudah menggunakan mesin-mesin yang canggih dan otomatis (80% dikerjakan oleh mesin). Perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana aspek hukum pengelolaan limbah ramah pabrik di PT. Sango Ceramics Indonesia?, dan (2) Bagaimana upaya pencegahan serta solusi yang diberikan terkait dengan pencemaran lingkungan di PT. Sango Ceramics Indonesia?. Tipenpenelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah secara yuridis normatif. Spesifikasi penelitian bersifat deskriptif analitis. Penelitianmini menggunakan dua sumber data: data primer dan data sekunder. Metode penyajian data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara deskriptif. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Upaya PT. Sango Ceramics untuk minimasilir pencemaran limbah dilakukan dengan cara seperti pengurangan limbah dan/atau proses daur ulang. Upaya internal juga dapat dilakukan oleh perusahaaan-perusahaan industri keramik sesuai dengan kondisi kemampuannya dalam perencanaan dan proses produksi yang baik, akurat dan cermat mengurangi penggunaan bahan-bahan kimia yang rendah beban pencemaran, pengontrolanmpemakaian air yang hemat dan efisien, memanfaatkan dan menggunakan kembali bahan kimia yang terdapat pada limbah cair untuk keperluan produksi. Sedangkan upaya eksternal yang dilakukan oleh PT. Sango Ceramics adalah upaya memantau limbah hasil pasca proses kegiatan meminimalisir limbah hasilnproduksi. ABSTRACT Industrial activities, both large scale and small scale, if in the production process do not heed environmental safety, it can cause environmental problems, namely environmental pollution and environmental damage. Of course, efforts must be made so that the industrial activities carried out do not cause pollution and environmental damage. This research was conducted at PT. Sango Ceramics Indonesia. PT. Sango Ceramics Indonesia is one of the major companies located in Semarang. This company produces various types of ceramics such as tableware or stoneware such as canisters, soup plates, flower soup, flower creamer, salad plates, dinner plates, as well as various types of plates, mugs, sauces, coffee, various kinds of displays made of ceramic materials, cups, bowls, and other ceramic products. This company all of its production activities already use sophisticated and automatic machines (80% of which are done by machines). The formulation of the problems in this research are: (1) What is the legal aspect of factory-friendly waste management at PT. Sango Ceramics Indonesia ?, and (2) How are the prevention efforts and solutions given related to environmental pollution at PT. Sango Ceramics Indonesia ?. The type of research used in this research is normative juridical. The research specification is descriptive analytical. This study uses two data sources: primary data and secondary data. The method of presenting data in this study was carried out by descriptive method. The analysis used in this thesis is qualitative. The results showed that the efforts of PT. Sango Ceramics to minimize waste pollution is done by reducing waste and recycling processes. Internal efforts that can be made by ceramic industry companies in accordance with the conditions of their abilities are good, accurate and accurate production process planning to reduce the use of auxiliary chemicals that are low in pollution loads, control of efficient and efficient water use, reuse chemicals contained in liquid waste for production purposes. Meanwhile, external efforts made by PT. Sango Ceramics is an effort to monitor post-processed waste waste minimization activities.
