Abstract
The main purpose of this research paper is aimed to analyze feminism capture in the film entitled ‘Aladdin Remake Live-Action 2019’. The study is designed in descriptive qualitative research that analyze clauses in utterances produced by the actors through dialogue conversations. The researcher found 21 data of utterances that will be categorized and analyzed referring to feminism context. The researcher uses the theory of Marry Wollstonecraft (1792) and Simone De Beauvoir (1949) to determine the actions of the feminist struggle and movement and will be Categorized into highlighted points such as freedom and political right. The utterances will be described with functional grammars based on Field (Ideational), Tenor (Interpersonal), and Mode (Textual) to describe the meaning of the context situation in the conversation.
